Egg scissors are great to have on hand in case you need to cut eggs, especially the smaller geckos species (Crested, Gargoyle, Leopard, etc.). The small, sharp tip means you are less likely to cut the baby in the egg. Stainless Steel will not corrode.
Some snake breeders will cut their eggs to help increase hatch rates and prevent animals from drowning in the eggs during hatching. The egg scissors can also be used to help during difficult hatchings.
