Description
The small turtleshell reptile hide is great for smaller reptiles, geckos, snakes, and frogs. Made from black plastic (polypropylene), these hides are easy to clean and look great in cages/terrariums! The polypropylene is also very durable and nearly unbreakable.
When choosing a hide, you should make sure your animal(s) can fit snugly in the hide. Animals, especially reptiles, prefer to hide in areas that may seem very tight, as the close contact makes them feel secure (predators cannot get to them). Hides which are too large may increase an animals’ stress level, as it will not feel secure.
The small tutleshell reptile hide is great for leopard geckos, bearded dragons, corn snakes, ball pythons (up to 500g), kingsnakes, small boas, and many more reptiles!
